Video Editor
Overview
We are looking for a talented Video Editor with at least 3 years of professional experience in video production and editing. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, technical proficiency, and a passion for storytelling through video. They will be responsible for editing various types of video content, from promotional videos and advertisements to client projects and internal communications.
Specific Skills
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting and storyboarding processes.
- Experience in a creative agency or production house environment.
Responsible For
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished video product, ensuring it aligns with the company’s vision and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, producers, and clients to understand project goals, audience demographics, and messaging.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine edits and achieve the desired final product.
- Utilize video editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create compelling visual stories, incorporating effects, graphics, and transitions as needed.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and production techniques.
- Occasionally participate in shoots to ensure footage quality and suitability for editing purposes.
- Ensure all edited videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communication, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and exporting standards.
- Solid understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and sound design.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition and storytelling.
